Ford Sierra drinking alot

Hi guys recently ive noticed my 2.0 sierra seems to be drinking alot more petrol then normal about 250 miles from one tank if im lucky. Is this normal? has any else had this problem and resolved it?

Is it a 2ltr twin cam or the pinto.
