Default 1.3 valencia in to mk1 fez

hello im new to the forum and looking for any advice on how to put the 1.3 valencia out of the mk4 escort into my 1.1 mk1 fiesta
the engine has a ford vv carb on it at the minute and im told its a mk2 fiesta exhaust manifold on it aswell i was thinking of getting a mk2 fiesta down pipe and a 1300 sportex exhaust for when its all in.
does anybody know what is the same and whats different in the engines
would my electronic ignition fit stright on it and is the vv carb ok or should i get a diffirent carb and would that mean a different manifold?
any advice would be very helpful
cheers
kyle

Any reason for that engine? It's a pretty naff sounding nail, make a good anchor though. Would think a CVH would be a far better option

If you're going to the effort of an engine change you may as well put something decent in it? Changing to a 1300 valencia is hardly worth it really?

Im not too sure on the details but the engines must be very similar so it can't be that difficult?

carb is fine,, if it works ok , , its a Spanish x flow, similar but not same
dizzy from your mk1 will fit , exhaust manifold is different not same as mk1 xr2 or supersport, your stuck with the manifold unless you have a friend good with welding.
not a tuneable engine really, about 63bhp, front engine mount is same ,
bellhousing is same shape as all fords, that era,, easy fit in a mk1 shell, good luck
