i didnt mean hard as in fightin i meant emotianally in this instance, that just shows that your not putting yourself in his families and friends position with your comments, it would be impossible to feel the way you do if you had known the lad

This is starting to amuse me

Do you think for ones sec it even went thru there thick heads, what they would do to the driver!!! Why should we think about them or there families??? No sympathy

It has probably ruined his life and he was innocently doing his job. It is his life that has ben ruined.

As for blocking the rails and throwing bricks, are you telling me that if they hang around the railways they would not do this. I think its time you woke up.
My grandmad was travelling on a train. When a chunk of concrete hit her carriage window and shook her up. Can you imagine how loud that would be??? Luckily the window did not go thru, it could have killed her.

Before you ask, i also believe that if people break into your house that you can legally use force. The incident with the poor farmer and the gippo. He had every right to shoot him., shame he didnt get the other lad. They should not have been there on his property.

At the end of the day we have have all done foolish things in our younger days, but i dont know about you, i didnt go round knicking cars, breaknig into houses and playing fucking chicken with a train.

I personally believe there is NO respect for anyone or there property anymore.
Shit Hole country

And if you don't know by age 15 that you will lose a fight with a train EVERY time, your gene pool needs quite a bit of chlorine

I agree with many of the comments here really, I feel sorry for the parents (who most probably did not have a clue this was what their kids were up to) and for the other people affected by this (train drivers, cleanup teams, police etc)

But I have little sympathy for the kids if it is true they were playing chicken on the tracks.

At the age of 8 I would have known better than to do that, let alone 15!

In under 1 years time they would have been deemed responsible enough to ride restricted motorbikes on the road as well as farm vehicles, and in other countries they could probably be allowed to drive whatever they want! Don't try and tell me they are just kids and didn't know any better!!! At the end of the day they were probably pissed off their faces on White Lightening and escaped from the local council estate!

Darwin's Theroy of Evolution springs to mind.

Darwin's Theory of Evolution - Natural Selection
While Darwin's Theory of Evolution is a relatively young archetype, the evolutionary worldview itself is as old as antiquity. Ancient Greek philosophers such as Anaximander postulated the development of life from non-life and the evolutionary descent of man from animal. Charles Darwin simply brought something new to the old philosophy -- a plausible mechanism called "natural selection." Natural selection acts to preserve and accumulate minor advantageous genetic mutations. Suppose a member of a species developed a functional advantage (it grew wings and learned to fly). Its offspring would inherit that advantage and pass it on to their offspring. The inferior (disadvantaged) members of the same species would gradually die out, leaving only the superior (advantaged) members of the species. Natural selection is the preservation of a functional advantage that enables a species to compete better in the wild. Natural selection is the naturalistic equivalent to domestic breeding. Over the centuries, human breeders have produced dramatic changes in domestic animal populations by selecting individuals to breed. Breeders eliminate undesirable traits gradually over time. Similarly, natural selection eliminates inferior species gradually over time.

Silly little fuckers

I see the argument from both sides though and i cant say either is right to be honest. i feel for the driver the most though, not what you want when your just trying to do your job

at least there are some people on here who view it the same as me.

i still have regular "bad sleep" nights from when i had 2 suicides in the space of a month on the same line - i'm seeing a counciller once a month at the moment to chat about it and a general chinwag to see how i'm getting on.

and now i've just applied for driving from been a guard
