Pinch bolts
Just been looking to order a couple of sets up for my focus WOW are these expensive for bolts £14
Am I missing something here or can I just use a simple hex head bolt, the same length, rated at the same strength 8.8?

Ball joint pinch bolts for the focus aren't just a normal bolt.
They're the same as used in the MK3/4/5 Fiesta and KA.
I paid about £4 for two in euro car parts.

Are they supposed to be changed everytime or can you reuse them time and again?

I always have!
They usually need a good beating to get them out so you end up nackering the thread anyway.
Make sure you copper slip the non threaded part of the bolt and it will come out easy the next time!

No harm in reusing them if they are in good condition but mine are proper rotten and I know they'll be destroyed once they are out
