Yes James you've helped but ive seen numerous cases on here about people havibg issues with this wasted spark and how boy racer had a customer which had said it fried his ecu personally i think this kit has dobe somethibg to the chip shorted it i recon as tge car was firing in the wrong order its not my loom thats tge issue the car runs perfect on my mates ecu and distribtor leads but i think personally this wasted spark it not whats all cracked upto be maybe you dont design and make then mate but i think it needs looking into seriously because firing the plugs in different sequence and firing all four plugs at the same tine it could happen anytime and blow a perfect engine im not taking the risk in fitting this board again as the risk factor is high at shorting something out the cars runnibg perfect on a mates ecu and distribitor im sure you are a top fella and look forward to coning to you and have a chat to you and stu i like the company a lot but this issue the wasted spark is not for me i will move tge product on and if it causes anyone else a problem i will sort it for them but i just hope to god it is ok and it does not damage an engine the wasted spark driver on other peoples cars could be perfect then if it goes then the engine will with it thanks for all your help in not ruining your reputation at all

There is no way in the world that spiking a chip can change or the data on it sand it mate.

corrupt it and completly kill it, maybe, but your chip still initilises the ecu, so the data on it is still intact. it has not been spiked.

 

Fezzrs I know you may disagree but your 1hour 40 mins away from MSD. Why not bite the bullet and just get yourself and your vehicle up there and sort this out once and for all including the car running issues. It will change the game I feel if you were to actually walk through their door. But also, your in good hands once there and both parties can concentrate properly on the issue. Im sure a good agreement can be met between you and MSD and James.
We all get frustrated but something is up here and going by their reputation its hard to see where you can solve it by running in circles still.

Clearly the car needs a new off the shelf chip and setup or a new chip/livemap, so I dont think just turning up at MSD will help
