Default Arrrgggghhh, poxy hose

i've spent over 1 hour in the dark struggling. does anyone have some tips for fitting a small pipe onto a big nipple?

i've got some braided water hoses that have plastic pipe inside them. the bore size is 6mm, but the nipple is designed to fit a 8mm hose.

i'm cutting my hand to shreds trying to fit it.

i've tried winding a bolt into it to open up the pipe, also tried boiling water.

neither have done the trick, any other ideas?

only thing i can think of is to soak the nipple with WD40 and then heat the pipe up

If boiling water didnt help, I would say they aint gonna fit. Might be better to give up now while you still have your sanity.

it was a custom made water feed. the guy only had 6mm bore pipes so my choice was limited. i assumed i'd be able to force it on.

i can't find the lemans website. do you know what it is? i've been on it in the past

Cheers, Tom.
