I have another ELECTRICAL question....actually....TWO!!!
...due to me being completey inept in the wiring dept. I'd thought i'd ask first!!!
1) I have bought a new fan switch, as the old one is a bit old and tempramental.....IS A NEW ONE HARD TO FIT?!??!
2) Want to wire up a manual switch for the fan.....HOW???
(look people, I have no idea when it comes to things like this, i'm a designer...a CREATOR if you will....!!! )

Easy mate, first of all i presume you have got a cossie?
The fan switch is located at the bottom of the Rad on the passenger side of the car. Just remove the plug and i think it's a 24mm spanner to take it out, sorted.
It would be a good idea to check the wiring while you are down there. If short the two pins out in the plug you pulled off the rad switch, the fans should come ON, if they dont then you could possibly have a wireing fault
The fan looms on the cossie are all getting old now and are slowly 1 by 1, packing up, (my one started melting the fuse in the box ) are you sure this is not your problem????
I have replaced the wiring on a few of my mates cossies now because of this, i make sure i use thicker cable than the original stuff so now they dont have to worry about it anymore
If you want the fans to come in on a switch then all you have to do is short the 2 pins out on the plug you pulled off the Rad switch. So all you need to do is take these two wires through a switch and you can then control them manually

Dave
