Hi all I recently brought this chrome bonnet prop for my mk4 escort turbo but it's totally different from the one fitted on there and there's no was of it fitting, it was advertised on eBay as removed from a s2 a few years ago but there's no way it could of been. Does anyone have any ideas by the pics what it could of come from? Thanks

That looks the same as the one I had on my rs turbo mate

 

The end that goes into the bonnet is to big and at the wrong angle and the other end is just impossible to fit through the scuttle panel

I can't help with this but a Google Images search for Escort RS Turbo Engine seemsto show that there are two different bonnet stay bottom mounts.

 

I've just been on google images myself and I think I might of found it, it looks very similar to a fiesta one?
