Default Ford transit broken into with no sign of entry

In the early hours of Monday morning my works van was broken into without causing any damage my van was one of 5 done on Monday morning and all of them had no damage I was lucky that nothing got taken but 3 of my work mates lost a breaker, drill and circular saw and over 1000 pounds worth of his own tools so any transit van owners be carful because they are using a tribe key to open the doors and this also turns the alarm off so you are defenceless unless you have a seperate alarm or extra locks as it takes less than 40 seconds to get into the vans

Lucky you we woke up yesterday to the whole work van gone !

Only 7 months old 13 plate lwb high top transit fully kitted out welfare van!!

We lost 14 years worth of bits & pieces that we use everyday that would be totally useless to anybody else & it's probably been dumped in a bin.

So easy nowadays with the technology around.

Yeh it will open it when the dead locks are on mine was double locked and alarm was armed once they open the lock it turns everything off the only thing is that they need the code to start the van but I think they were only after tools.
Sorry to here you have lost the full van and everything in it our vans have trackers fitted

anyone with the mk6 van should also have guard plates fitted where the loom enters the rear doors .my brothers van was broke into like this but their was nothing in it but we only realised a week later as our van wouldnt lock .someone mentioned the wiring and when we looked it was snipped . our nextdoor neighbours van was cleaned out on the same night

tibbe lock pick on top right:

however most of these picks can be used to pick a ford tibbe lock as they arent that complicated.

tibbe pick is certainly quickest way. Someone well practised can open a lock in a minute or two.

Someone tried my sprinter a while ago.
They punched a screwdriver through the back door near the handle, had they had got it in the right place it would have hit a bar that unlocked the door.
Luckily I have a Clifford alarm which went off waking me up.
I looked out the window to see the fuckers running away.
By the time I was out the front door they were gone.
They didn't get in though.
I've now got an armour plate over the lock.
Also all my power tools are locked in a safe.

Those tibbie lock picks do work but if the lock is tight you can break the pick. They're actually intended for reading the locks, not to actually open the van up.

New sprinters are easy to get into if they're not deadlocked.

They do both and the decent ones are advertised primarily by the manufacturers as a pick first.

For really stiff locks you either lube them first, or use a single wafer pick or do it the old fashioned way use traditional picks as above.

or screwdriver it

You can't lock pick to be with the normal picks due to the shape hence you use a screwdriver or the tibbe pick tool

At work the techs just drill the locks out but there is a way of getting the deadlocks off a transit
