mk3 xr3i on old style plates??

thinking of putting the old style metal number plates (black with silver letters) on my white mk3 xr3i what do you think?? might get grief off the plod but reckon they'd look cool

Personally I dont think they would suit it. Its not a pre 1973 car so why bother. Plus the law will stop you straight away and hand you a 30 quid fine

£60 now, I got one for my old German plate a year back. Almost got another £60 fine for my legal plate as the copper was a complete dick
