220bhp NA is mega big bucks for a start..... does he realise?
xfactor were selling their engine not too long ago - might be worth seein if they still have the set up (this was about 190ish bhp if memory serves me right)
TBs, cams, raised compression ported head... management...
i personally like the idea of the standardish spec engine.... big exhaust and manifold and throttle bodies.... for about 180ish bhp I think grahamb was reporting in his mk1 fiesta.

heres one of the maddest specs ive seen in a road car
http://www.fiestaturbo.com/phpBB/vie...695&highlight=
ive got the following spec:
2.0 16v Zetec
Raceline 190/200 head
Raceline RL200 Matching cams
Raceline Decked block 11.01 compression
ARP Con Rod bolts
Uprated Valve Springs
Trust Electrical Exhaust Manifold
Dunnel Lightened and balanced Flywheel
Vibratec gearbox mounts
B&M Short shift kit
BMC Carbon Fibre induction kit
Magnex full system incl de-cat with 4 inch backbox
Stg 2 CTS box with Quaife ATB diff
Alcon six paddle clutch
managed a 6.8 to 60 in the wet in me grudge feature with performance ford awhile back. Since then ive got an Alcon clutch and still aint had the car mapped. Once its mapped and ive sorted a better inlet its should go alot better.

my old mans got a n/a 2ltr zetec in his dax kit car.
he was running dunnells 175 bhp kit. All this consists of is throttle bodies and new managment.
he bought the car with them already on it so i dont know how much it cost.
But recently he sent the head back to them had some more work done, new cams, new rod bolts and the rev limited raised a bit, now hes getting apx 210bhp. That work cost him less than a grand.
He strongly recomends vernier pullys as it took him ages to set his cams up.

My engine is still for sale as I've had a lot of people mess me about
Engine is 2.0 decked block 11:1 compression ratio
ARP connecting bolts
ported and polished head with chambers reshaped
road race cams
uprated valve springs
vernier pulleys
Jenvey 45 Throttle bodies with ITG sausage filter and cosworth injectors
Omex management and loom
Also comes with altenator starter and complet wiring loom for just Ł2000 the TB and omex kit costs more than that new

I'll let you know in about two weeks time, over 200bhp though, as without the awesome Primary Designs manifold and system, and without the lary Kent cams, it made 196bhp peak on the dyno with just the Jenvey throttle bodies on
It's gonna be naughty!!!
