Was speaking to a bloke the week regarding this sort of thing, i'm more than happy with the performance of mine but i think one of these boxes would use the power more efficiently, really want to use mine on the track so it would be nice but i don't have around £7k spare for a gearbox

My old centrelocks well the outers anyway, the current owner made the inners from billet ali and sold the original BBS magnesium centres on, his company makes some top notch bespoke cnc parts.

At £20k I think its not a bad price just for the car considering the components its built from, I can See Mark buying this and breaking it

I've been in that same Saff and know exactly what you mean, makes a massive difference.

Yeah, Dan's got the Elite Il300 Evo 2 I think. The new version seems pretty good, but no one has really pushed one hard yet as far as I know, at least with big power. The old Il300 'boxes had a mixed reputation.

I'd love one but even if I could afford it I can't run a sequential box in my class, I suppose I could just screw the old T5 gear knob on and hope nobody noticed lol.

Ha! They would think you're shit hot at changing gear, too! Sequentials are amazing, driven and been out in a few and they transform the car. I want one for my car but can't justify it

A tractive box is worth the extra as its lighter stronger better gear change better customer service but its 10k so all of the above wont matter if the usual mentality is used of cheaper is better lol
