£30k is strong money, cool car though.
Might get shot for this and maybe there's more to the ad than makes out, but take away the decals and replica wheels and it seems like a 3dr track car with a bolted in cage?

It is a bloody lot of money for a 3door but then again it has had a small fortune spent on it i imagine, the gbox alone seems to retail at nigh on 10k? add the genuine 500 bumper and spoilers plus the wheels, thats half the price of the car already!

It's 'only' a Quaife 60g, so about £6k or so.

There's certainly some money in it; GT30, rebuild, brakes, suspension, AIM dash and like you say the RS500 bits and wheels, too. Plus the price a standard 3-door means he's spent some money but not worth £30k IMO.

Be worth more breaking it I would have thought.

A bit strong .
If that goes for the asking price then it makes you wonder
What the high spec ones should command price wise

bolt in roll cage isn't much good, any roll cage in a sierra that does not pass through the dash and through to the innerwings is a cheepo job and not gonna be as good as a proper works spec cage in a proper shunt, also its too high miles for that kind of dough so i'd be breaking it,looks nice though.....

Remember the spares too, sounds like it's a good stash to go with it. I'm sure if you rocked up with 25k he might say yes.

I agree it looks like the wheels aren't wide enough its as if they are 17 x 7J wide.

Looks tacky IMO. I wouldn't pay anywhere near £30K for that. In fact apart from the box, they haven't really used any high end parts?

Screams of somebody trying to claw all their money back IMO.

Agreed, hate cages that go in front of the dash.. And I hate silicone (waiting to fail) vacuum hoses even more, it doesn't look a bad car but it could take a few improvements.

I think he has since added this to the add. Must be a lot of spares for 10k. I think 20k is more realistic for the car on its own.

nice looking motor although echoing everyone else the cash is a bit strong - being the cynical bastard I am I wonder if he thought he'd chance his arm on a non-cossie site to see if someone that doesn't know what they're going for might fall in love & pay it.......

I would love to spend a weekend on that i would make it look insane and how it should look, right-ish idea but i fucking hate Texeco reps with a passion so that gash would have to go.

gearbox is overkill and wheels are the wrong offsets and widths, great idea half hearted or a project that started running out of money

Them sequential gear box's are un real in a road car!
Mate of mine has an ellite one in a gt35 powered m.a.d saff with 500bhp it's never off boost as you don't have to let off to change gear they really do make the car quicker

To be fair apart from the gearbox there's nothing on that i'd rather have on or in my 3 Door.

imo thats a 12-15k car in on piece put all the comments above together and thats a correct assumption of the car ! Yes it looks pretty but theres so many cheapo parts on it the brakes breather tank ect its a rare thing these days a cossie thats worth more in bits probably ! If i was looking for a 3 door I would be looking past and buying near stock example to be worth while
