Default Fwd -> Rwd conversion. Some questions for those who've done it

I've got a 'spare' puma at the minute, and my best mate who I share my workshop with is hoping to have 'spare' e46 325 running gear, so were thinking about doing a bit of a joint project. The only thing I'm not sure on is front hubs. For simplicity sake I'd like to keep the front suspension setup, so puma lower arms, modified subframe, puma hubs and struts. But being that the steering rack would need to be I front of the engine, does anyone think there would be any issues swapping the hubs round, side to side, so the steering arm is in front of the front wheel instead of behind?

Other than that, what else could I do besides graft the front suspension from another car on?

Sounds like it will be a right chew on.

If you look on ProjectPuma.com a bloke on there fitted a Cossie V6 to his puma. He used a lot of sierra running gear.Im sure he used the sierra floor too.

Done exactly that on my Ka. Kept standard subframes and wishbones, flipped the hubs, then mounted steering rack on a bespoke crossmember in front.
Current issue is i have no arb and it handles like a boat.

Couldn't an anti roll bar be fabricated to fit?
