Plumbing in a boost gauge/ dump valve into fpr?

Is it acceptable to tee into the fuel pressure regulator pipe that goes to inlet manifold? I all ways it was a big no ?

I always avoid it and give the fpr it's own clean vacume

I knew I was right when I told the guy but I question my self when he shown me the fitting instructions! And that was from a vauxhall tuner!!
