been having a issue with my s1 getting a sprk lately so have been looking at ways to try and improve reliability/driveability while still keeping origial engine etc. found coil rewire kits and group a coils but unsure if they are engine specific. ive seen a few but the prices ar from £20 to £60. do i need these items to be specifically for an rs turbo or could i use one that is listed for another car? also am i likely to see any improvement if i fit these or are they only for big horsepower engines? or would i just be better off fitting new standard parts? thanks

Im sure all the grouo a coils are the same. There the ones rhat are the same as the early Vauxhall Corsas.
I know a lad who had a S2 and it had running problems. He changed his Group A coil and it cured it????
