any 60s mustang experts on here?
Been looking at a 1965 289 convertible. ( for my dad )
Were all the 4.7 engines the same power output? If not how do you know what your looking at?
And any decent websites for parts in the uk? Or is it best to buy from the us?

no idea about them, hence asking , its got power steering! guessing that was an option back then.
regardless of the spec I think he will buy it
but will have a read up, dont want him buying a lemon! shame he cant stretch to a mk1 lotus cortina, I would be a bit more innterested then!

I've got an 88 Mustang
I buy my parts direct from the States
Although for the early ones there are a few places that keep stock in the U.K.
As above many variations on the engines, but they are easily upgraded.
There are hundreds of forums for them in the U.S with everthing you need to know.
This one is U.K based.
