Car was at Stu's place today for a bit of fettling before this weekend's trip to the 'Ring. To cut a long story short, among the problems of the day, the intercooler on the Escos was pissing air out like my wife's minky the day after childbirth. Suffice to say, not much Stu could do on the mapping side until i've sorted the 'leak' out ! (on top of that, my Mark1 below it's engine on the rollers later today at Northampton Motorsport, but that's another story
)
Following a begging post on Stu's part (along with several phone calls among his 'circle of friends'), AJ Escos (who is relatively local to me) offered to sell/loan me his for the trip as his car is off the road, until i find a replacement. Whilst this is going on, John (JC Motorsport) managed to source me one from A1 Rallysport, which i probably wouldn't have got in time for Wednesday.
Getting the car ready is still a way off as i have to fit the intercooler and get it back to Stu on Wednesday, along with a few other jobs i have had to bring forward to tomorrow, but if it doesn't make it, it certainly won't be for the want of trying from people off here.
Massive thanks to Stu and Kenny @ MSD, AJ Escos (really trusting top bloke as we didn't even know each other until 2 hours ago), people whos posted on the initial thread and JC for sorting me stuff out AGAIN !

i think out of all the sites we all join etc the rs/cosworth ring of friends HAS to be the best in the UK. We all help each other out-which is good to see in this terrible world of muggings/murders etc etc
