Default Lotus Elise @ Copart Chester

watched mike brewer extolling the virtues about elises and always fancied one so looked on my local copart and found this

http://www.copart.co.uk/c2/homeSearc...SEARCH_RESULTS

which used to look like this @ 35 secs in

then i find out the bloke driving it died in a bad accident and as it was the lotus dealers project car christoper neils that day closed the lotus dealership and sold all the cars in 1 go.

dunno how its at copart for sale after what happened but put me right off the idea now......

yep,i looked on the lotus websites and there is no mention for sale,it seems the driver was known to the owners of oakmere group who owned christopher neils the lotus dealers in northwich.

i clocked the phone number on the smashed up lotus and recognised it as a local one to the northwich area and found out it was the lotus dealers number.

how its ended up in coparts for sale i dunno but i'd of wanted that thing crushing not selling on the internet tbh

That's well knackered. You often see Elise's on E-BAY with clam damage, and they're viable for repair, but that's an utter basket case.
