Default Getting my Escort RST S2 up to 200bhp

Hi everyone I'm looking to get my S2 to 200bhp here is my current spec what do I need to do to reach this and reasonably and safely
It has standard internals and standard camshaft, running MFI, stage 1 hybrid turbo, cone filter and exhaust system and the pace inter cooler but it's only the half front mount
Which plugs do I need to get to see 200bhp as I heard the standard ones won't cope?
Which other parts need updating? And what's the limits for the standard internals? Thanks for your time

genuine ford spark plugs only, gapped right for the set up
your turbo rebuilt too stage 2/3 spec as the stage one is no better than standard
decent actuator (this should be done on rebuild)
bailey or autospecialists breather kit, (second hand is cheaper)
full front mount intercooler kit (get this second hand in good condition) saves £100+
newman phase 4 cam with double valve springs and solid lifters (genuine ford is also good)?
chipped ecu (unlimited boost)

clutch?....... standard will need changing, i like the ap 4 paddle with uprated pedal mod....... best set up that works in my view

and a set up from one of the following companys
jamsport
norris motorsport
oddkidd creations
motorsport developments

on another note, i would look into a full service and remember too change the oil straight after changing the cam.

and if you went for a decent hybrid turbo you could get away with the standard cam kit if its a genuine ford in good condition and not a cheap pattern part, if it has a genuine ford one then i would leave the cam as its the most reliable for a cvh.

so on top of what you have get
stage 2 or 3 hybrid turbo
front mount intercooler
genuine ford plugs
breather system/ kit

limit for stock internals is around 240bhp on mfi, more on a mappable management due to having alot more control over ignition and fueling......

I had:

Ported and polished head
Piper 285T2
Turbosystems Chip
GRS FMIC
K&N Panel
Full Exhaust
Turbo meant to be standard spec

...set up by AVA and made 167 at the wheels on a touch over 13psi. Thing was an absolute missile!!

Cheers,
Grant

Ring Jano at oddkidd creations. But I think cosworth management conversion is the best bet for an Rs turbo.

MFI is only good for the bin

easier and cheaper to fit aftermarket management these days, cossie management was a complete waste of time and money for me, esp as a tuner talked me out of megasquirt.

Get a health check on its state now before tweeking.

Proper intercooler as the half width Pace is only slightly better than stock, decent cam (Newman, Kent cvh35) then chip and set up by somebody that knows what they are doing.

MFi is fine at that level if its working properly. Mine's still on it and a smidge over the 200 mark
