replace steering bearing "UCFL205"

have read for the first time about this improvement. the benefits are:

better and more direct steering feel
no abnormal play
no plastic shit

most genuine steering column bearings (plastic) are as old as the car so it were a nice improvement even for MOT. you will never have any abnormal play in the column anymore.

Has anyone done this improvement with the UCFL205 already?

the "UCFL205" bearing with grease nipple

Done the same to my focus but mines a two piece clamped sealed bearing

Great upgrade and used in loads of motorsport cars
