Jeez,
Haven't driven it yet but wow,it's raised the car up to where I remember the car sitting before, had been baffling me for ages as it seemed to be lowering it self over time...

I've got a solid mount on mine as well, makes a huge difference to the back end, better than the poly ones but you do get some diff whine through the body.

I wouldn't run half solid half bushed ,the bushes allow some movement so will crack the part that's mounted solid in time

Because it of noise also they handle worse but people dont realise this as the bushes they replace are that fucked a cotton reel will feel better or the other reason is cost the poly kits are so much cheaper than the original bearings

So unless someone buy's your nice beams then fit the uprated diff hanger and the rest should be fords stuff

When you say uprated/solid diff hanger do you mean one of these?

I've heard mixed views on these things If they turn out to be shit I'll be gutted as I had a perfect standard one but sold it on the bay

Don't worry Jimmy they're brilliant mate. Solid mounts help too but transmit nvh into the cabin.

That mount or the one MSD do is spot on you need a little give in it and solid ones will just shake the car to death and will be horrid to drive

I was going to work one morning and overtook a car.I couldnt believe how well the car handled. It didnt feel sloppy at all.

My rear arm bushes are srandard cossie bushes but my beam bushes are poly.I think my car handles ok for a 25 year old set up.

Just should have measured the solid bushed one I fitted for locating holes on diff so I could make solid solid one...hole will dictate ride height or geometry to some extent I presume...???
