I have a Sapphire 4x4 that now requires a new set of injectors
(my 500 mile/2 year old siemens 55's are faulty?!).
No longer manufactured.
Cant find replacements at the moment.
MSD have 3 in stock, 1 needed.
I have been told by MSD that if i cant find replacements that i will have to buy 4 different injectors, £320 ish, and have my car live mapped, £500 ish!!!!!!

I have spent fortunes on the car in the last 2 years, approx 6/7k.

Does anyone have 1 siemens 55lb 3102??????

Any other sensible options?
I am willing to travel.
This car is pi$$ing me off now.

Any help would be much appreciated.

All four gone faulty at the same time? Really?

All 4 are leaking fuel......
I cant believe it.
It has been 'suggested' that someone has leant on them and broke them all????
No sign of any damage at all but all of them are leaking from where the plastic top joins the main body of the injector.
I have been advised by a couple of injector specialists that this injector is no longer made due to poor design / old technology.
You would have to jump on the fuel rail to cause this to happen!!
500 miles old, cost me approx £1300 from MSD with chip, wasted spark etc, not a happy chappy at moment......

Why don't you just buy different injectors to what you had before?

keep a watch on here and ebay as I have seen a few come up in the last few months

Different injectors = different chip required / live map / wont suit my current set up possibly.

Only covered 500 miles over 2 years with my current faulty injectors.....

CheeRS Matthew, i've now been offered a couple of sets on here, still very annoyed that i paid approx £350 for my current faulty injectors only 500 miles / 2 years ago.....

touch wood so far mine are ok,bit worrying in thou as its another 500-600 notes for a new chip and injectors if they go tits up

Sounds a little strange to me. Have them flow checked and tested before buying a new set surely?

I know this is totally different but with our diesel Cummings engine on our plant at work we also have the tested prior to changing them as they are big money for six.
