Default AP 6 POT QUESTION

Fitted a set of 355 disc,s and ap 6 pots to my mates 4x4 saff,bolted on his brand new 18" mo,s and guess what,the caliper fouls the spokes on the mo,s.has any body had this problem,brake kit came off an ecos which had 18" rondells

i was told there was a prob with the new mo s they would not fit the big brakes could be wrong though ask mr hadland he would no might be off set

dan wheels are old 6 spoke design,and they came from martoooooon so should be ok,think a 4 mm spacer will be the answer

A mate had a similar problem on his road car scooby. He didn't want to run spacers so his only other option was new wheels.

His wife wasn't best pleased to say the least

Hi mate

Did you send the wheel of aswell when you was getting your brackets and bells made ???

if you do use a spacer make sure you use longer studs

no marco,wheels where bought new before the brakes,as said they cam from martoooon and correct et for saff,brakes where sh from cam off of here,surrised they cleared rondell,s and not mo,s
rsgus thats the ones,by the way folks the bells are flat

mmm
I had to fit 5 mm spacers for my 4 pots
and that was with the Avez As`
i bought a proper kit with longer studs etc

rondells on cams car was a et20 with a 3mm spacer on also mine had NO spacers on and was 362x32mm not the 28mm ones u have my wheels was et 35

The Escort runs totally different offsets to the Sapph so this is your problem...

My Dad has an AP 6 pot set up using 356 x 32mm Discs sat here and they fit just with ET37 wheels.
