Default Audi S5's, about to buy one, anything to look for?!

Well it seems that I wont need to be getting a smoker / Volvo anymore, it looks like I have found an S5 with the spec / price I want!

Does anyone have experience with these, anything I should look for on one? The one I am about to buy is a June 2007 meteor grey/red leather with 71k. Full history and looks like it has been well looked after. Do things wear out quicker than other things?!!

Cheers

A mate at work has one, nice bit of kit and sounds mint.

Engines can coke up apparently on the FSI's, mega £££'s to have stripped and cleaned. Audi know all about it as is normally the case with such issues.

ok cool cheers, I have heard that ones with more miles are the better option, which is a bit of a result as it helps my budget! Was literally about to put a deposit on one but he sent me a pic of the drivers bolster - looks fooked, then decides to say that the history isn't all there, the handbrake broke, then said he is into rallying... nice one Norbert!!! Got my eye on one other (black/black leather) which seems nice, and a bit cheaper, full audi history, bloke seems more genuine!

i would expect the same issues as rs4, heard of transmission failure but nothing else.
are you looking at 4door or 2door? i think the 2door is possibly the best looking car on the road. look at rs5 flared arches and a stance that looks so aggresive.
