Default 2007 transits electrics

I have a 2007 reg transit having a prob with the rear lights.. When i turn my indicator left all the left hand side lighhts work when i indicate right my right indicator and fog flash.. When the park lights are on only 1 side will work all break light work. In bad need of help checkd all fuses and earths and are perfect and all the right bulbs

Check the connections on the back light clusters they normaly corrode.

Ya i took all them apart. Would that make them flash together? I sprayed them with wd and dirt remover no joy cant find a break on the line. ??

as glenn said jason clean both sides of connections ,but sometimes its easier to buy new bulb holders as they aint too dear and tend to give a bit of trouble .

There hasnt been a single filament bulb put in where the twin filamnet bulbs go.

Ya i have new bulb holders i didnt get new connection were the cables are tho. All bulbs are in the right places i dont under stand the earth is prfect 2.

Have a look at your main fuse box/body control module, may have had water ingress.

Bloke at work had some weird electrical faults with one and was found to have water in it.

These are only programmable by dealers or anyone with IDS , and I think the As Built data needs to be downloaded from Ford to programme the new module.

Is that the fuse box behind the glove box or under the bonnett? This really has me confused ha

Would the front lights earths affect the back lights. I found 1 under neath and its in a bad way. Thanks

run a direct earth from battery and test it to see if improves.

Would i go frm the battery and fix it on the back where the old earths are or what sorry not good at electrics thanks

Fix the earths and try it. It's worth checking the fusebox properly (even if it means taking it out) for water ingress

Ya i stripped every thing dwn theres power in every fuse in it 2 ill try new earths next see how it goes

just run a provisional one around the outside of the van to test to see if it improves, if it does then you can either find the problem or just put a new cable from the light connector and bolt direct to the chassis by it. it defiantly sounds like a bad earth to me.

Only common issue is wrong bulbs or corroded plug/socket/bulb holders.

Got it sorted. Who ever tryed to do a job on it before me made a ryt bollox of it indicator wire was connected to fogs brakes were indicators and so on.. Made 2 earhts under the van which were rotted away.
