I was talking to someone today about turbocharging a rs 2000 4+4 and they went on to say it shouldn't be done as there becoming rare now and I should turbo a gti and make that 4wd. now I'm not completely stupid as I know almost anything can be done with time and money but is it a massive hassle to convert one? Look foward to your replays

There's a guy breaking a 4x4 rs2000 big spec car on here, the shell is for sale alone with a modified Evo running gear modded to suit that shell
If I was you I would get that lot brought and purchase a zetec turbo, job done and a bolt together project to save loads of hassle

So what if you upset the "purist's" at least you will have an awesome car! and also there is only two true RS2000's in my opinion anyway, the MK 1 and MK 2 RS2000

I'm pretty sure it says RS2000 on my car's logbook, so I think it must be one ![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
Turbocharging a 4WD one would make for a fun car, but you have to be careful of the transmission. People have gotten away with it if you don't go too bad and don't launch it from every junction.

Cheers guys I'm gonna build one as like a lot of you have said very true things sadly rsmark Ian isn't selling that anymore but it will be good to see him put it on the road.
I won't launch it much as I don't really do it in the Subaru I want a sleeper that will already be rolling before hitting the noisy peddle and giving someone a shock lol.
