Aftermarket Fuel guage senders.
Anyone know if you can get a good quality fuel sender that can be calibrated to work with modern ford guages (mid 90's on)?
Im building my own fuel cell and want something to put in it, preferably not an old one from a scrapyard car.
Can you get differing lengths of measurement for different hieght tanks etc??
Also are they now electronic?? want to move away from float based if possible so i can baffle the tank.

Contact Fozmula, they can make you anything you want.
A basic simple dip tube style ( similar to VDO but much better quality ) is about Ł30-40 and can be made any length and with any resistance pattern you want.
Or they can do much fancier ones with non-linear outputs or voltage outputs at higher cost which arent reliant on any floats.
Failing that if you're stuck with a particular sender that doesnt match your gauge...

They dont seem to list mine on the site

SFW-08 was the model number though. Basically just a better quality VDO replacement and made to your specs.
I bought mine at the end of 2011 when I changed my dash, cost was Ł32.20, although as usual got robbed on postage to Northern Ireland which was almost the same amount !!!!
