What happens to stuff partially used in hotel rooms

I mean, I opened a bar of soap last nite to wash my hands, and this evening it has been replaced with a brand new one

What happened to the bar of soap that still had plenty of use left in it

Do hotel staff take them home yeuk

Anyway, off to spend someone else's money on dinner

 

They probably recycle them, or just bin them......most likely only cost about 2p for a box of a thousand of those little soaps, so not as if they're losing much money.

 

Bin them prob! lol

It isa waste, but to be honest i wouldnt like to go into room with half a used soap!! lol

Supposed they should send it to more needy peeps

 

Rhys, I wouldn't like to come into a hotel room which has used soap, but, if you stay for 4 nights, that's four bars of soap, when half of one would probably last a couple of weeks easily.

Such a waste though if they are thrown away...

i dont know....: lets just pretend the soap fairies take them to a magic island where they all get to drink champagne and watch porn

 

I don't use the soap in hotels out of principle.



















I just nick 'em and end up taking a suitcase full home

Went to Disneyland last year, came out the room one morning and they'd left the trolley with all the soaps and stuff on right outside so we filled up a bag with soap, shampoo, shower gel, sewing kits and moisturisers
Haven't had to buy any since

you and me both buddy im actually quite jealous of the bar of soap in the bathroom now, might have to leave it under a running hot tap dieeeeee magic soap fairy cant save you now muhhaha.
