Default Fitting Cosworth management to a RS turbo

Hi guys could anyone tell me what i would expect to pay for Cosworth management?
And also what would be the benefits of fitting it as im in the middle of collecting parts for a Zetec turbo conversion.

Many thanks

as to cost, i am unsure, oddkidcreations have done dozens over the years.

the advantages are no more crappy mechanical fuel injection and the headaches that brings, proper fueling management, with a better spark system and more controlled air path through use of a better system over K-jetronic

but most people buy it for the chatter

Adam get ofam from boost monkeys

Then use the pin out for a aem wideband to run closed loop and fit a aftermarket boost solenoid in place of the ofab map sensor, it will all be plug and play once you fit a lamba sensor hole

And will cost a little tiny bit over £500 if you shop about, so a third of cossie management

The ofam ecu is a megasquirt ecu built into a frst ecu case, this means you can install it in very little time, you wont need to change throttle body, add different crank and cam triggers amongst other things. You have a very good choice on new modern injectors etc. A lot of people can map it for you including yourself if thats something your interested in, as you only need a laptop and a wideband. AFAIK Rob from boost monkeys offers mapping too.

So as long as your frst engine loom is in good order your laughing.

Out of interest, what's needed to fit cossie managemt onto something else, in this case, a friends Renault 21 turbo, 2.0 litre, 8 valve.

Obviously the ecu, loom and sensors, but chip wise...
What should you use for a base chip? A std cossie? I mean just to get it up and running before taking it to someone for mapping. And what injectors? Std for the car?

So much that it's worth just fitting an aftermarket ecu
