Default Cosworth YB coil on plug conversion questions?

Hi all.
Had a good look on here and t'interweb regarding proper coil on plug conversions and the info seems a touch limited.
In aware ok that yaris 1.3 plugs fit which is great but I'm wondering what to use to drive it?
Is the msd wasted spark kit compatible with these and how do they work?
Is it just worth buying the msd wasted spark kit, keeping the leads and hoping this wont miss fire(which from reading on here it appears it doesn't) and be done with it?
I don't want to go stupid power but I do want it to be as reliable as possible and hassle free (as a cossie gets!!!).
Any advice really appreciated.

I'm told you will need a after market ECU to run them Which will cost so if I was you just run the MSD wasted spark kit as it should be run and you will be very happy with it mate I'v run it for 4 years now spot on bit of kit

Yeah I actually started searching again on here with "coil on plug" in the title and most folk said basically that the msd kit is more than ample for the car.
Need an 044 as well so perhaps a deal can be struck????
Cheers for the advice, good to hear the kit works as well.

I tired to get Denso (Yaris) COP's to run in wasted spark format using the MSD board, you certainly get a wasted spark it fires all 4 at the same time with a spark large enough to fell a horse
I've just stuck with it as it was designed with the addition of 40,000 volt MSD coil pack which works perfectly fine.
