Default What would you expect?

What would you expect to receive if you bought this item?

https://passionford.com/forum/ford-r...gine-loom.html

Seems a dumb question but I just want to resolve an issue with my buyer.

Your thoughts please!

Thanks

Brad

Is it a trick question? Lol

I'd expect a loom, if you haven't used it i wouldn't know if it was working or not.

If you are correct with your original description, it is from a 1993 cossie 4x4 sapphire, and obviously in used condition.
Why, whats happened?

I have looked again. It still looks like a used loom.

No certainly not the end of the world however I have provided goods as described & pictured and even included free postage via special delivery.

A week later I get PMs saying where is the other half of the loom?

WTF?

Its only a week later because i didnt take it out of the box until today. I dont have an issue, i just thought perhaps you left the other half in the car? Forgot to pack it....... or what ever other reason.

It just seems a little strange to send someone half of a engine loom?

I would say you do have an issue otherwise I wouldn't have heard from you.

There is only one reason why you have not received another piece of loom - I wasn't selling anything other than what was advertised.

It seems a little strange to me that anyone would expect something over and above what was pictured.

Thanks

In my eyes it's like buying a cylinder head and asking where the bottom end is!

Keep the opinions coming, I'm interested to hear them

Cheers

4x4 looms are in 2 pieces - Engine loom and ECU loom. You were clearly selling the engine loom from the picture.

I dont have an issue?

I really dont think your getting me here? I dont care that the upper is missing, i only wanted it as a spare as i told you. I already have one in the car, just would of been handy for a template for the old man to make another.

The only reason i sent you a PM is that i though you had forgot to send the other part of the loom thats all.

When you put " all connectors present " i assumed that it was complete. If its not there is not there simple as.

You're not making a lot of sense to me. If it wasn't an issue you wouldn't have contacted me asking where the other half is.

I could see in your PMs you were paving the way to suggest a refund or something and so I sought opinions from other members in this thread.

My guess is you now feel a little silly.

As far as I'm concerned that's the end of it. I sent you the goods you bought. If you want another loom as well then I'd suggest ebay, the for sale section on here or one of the breakers.

Cheers

Brad

Thought this wasn't an issue for you?

Anyway, please show me where it states 'complete engine loom' in the advert.

Thanks

Let me try and get my point across here, you where selling and engine loom. I understood it as being a complete loom. Not a harness or upper or lower or want anybody calls the different parts. It was 50 quid, may or may not work. So i have already taken the gamble.

I dont feel silly in the slightest, as ive said, more than once i simply thought you let it out of the box. Im not after any refund, or part refund or anything else for that matter. All you had to say is its only whats pictured.

I have no issue. Some crossed wires here lol.

Think its best to ask first buy later ,would it not have been best to ask if he was selling both parts ? even though he only show's one for sale .

Im going to make this my last post on the subject as i think is been taken a little out of proportion.

I have no issue with Brad or what he has supplied, i was clearly wrong to assume it was complete without studying the picture.

Blimey, in the 3/4 years I've here, this is the first thread of it's kind that has ended without someone having to use the "bum him" reply!
