Myself and a few mates looking at doing a track day when I get back from tour August time. We're from Sussex so Goodwood is local, is fairly expensive, £320 full day or £165 half day. But logic is the costs in petrol saved going to/from Brands or SIlverstone makes it a bit cheaper for us.

So has anyone done a day and how was it? Well run? Think they do 5 car sessions. Be good to hear first hand experience before booking up!

Done a few.
It's worth looking for the days organised by the local college as they're usually cheaper and open pit.
Sound testing is quite strict and drifting will get you kicked off almost instantly as i found out but apart from that its nearly always been marshalled by a very friendly bunch that give you plenty of warning for any naughtiness before kicking you off.

Great circuit to drive.
Needs to be taken very seriously - if you go off there it could be a big accident no slow corners at Goodwood

lived near this all my life been round on pushbike motorbike roadcar classic car god knows how many times as has already been said no slow corners at goodwood if it goes wrong can be messy great day tho
