So looks like you need a full detail to remove the overspray, (which can be removed by a professional), and a bumper repaint, I would be on the phone and say if these was covered then it would save going to small claims court and seeking help from trading standards
Would be the easiest thing for both party's
Hope you get it sorted and as above will Pedley racing

That is shocking, shoddy workmanship, don't think I've ever seen anything quite so poor AND treated with no respect what so ever.
I really would want to take this further, just my two penneth, our cars are our pride & joy and they cost us enough as it is WITHOUT having to deal with this.
Sorry to see it Luke

So sad to see this to a fello enthusiasts car, I do appreciate that it looks as though Mark really dosent have a leg to stand on but why not just come on and clear things up and try to be seen to sort something out for Luke as regards the damage to the paintwork.

Im just glad you put this thread up.
Im just about to start wiring up my track car - nothing exotic just a DOHC sierra, and whilst I had considered this joker - both the price and the lack of names on his testimonials put me off..
I think I may need some help specing things up - but I know that despite being a novice at wiring up a car (I have done a fair few wiring projects in the past with good success so understand the basic basics) I will do a better job than this joker who calls himself a professional.

Some of the parts and fasteners on the underside of mine went dull because of the cold conditions its kept in. Even though its in a garage it's still damp, so I'd have to say it didn't need to be out in the rain to start corrosion like that on the bolts, they weren't self colour were they? Cos they'll rust straight away
I feel for you with the damage and the half arsed attempt to rip you off, county court is the only way to go, it'll only cost you Ł65 to get there.......good luck

Wow! That is shocking to say the least. I feel for you, mate, I really do. That's no way to treat a customers car, disregarding the fact that he hasn't even done the work he has been paid to do!

In regards to the rust guys it's a fair point that maybe it didn't go out in the rain and it's from the damp in the unit.
nut I can't help but feel it was avoidable by doing it in the time scale he promised.
the car was also full of water as per pic so there's no doubt my car spent time in the rain.

but it shouldn't have should it!!!it was said that it would be done in two weeks.if I'd known it would have been six months I would have sealed the bare metal etc but I was told 2 weeks.what you see would not happen in that time.
what I'm trying to say is that my car was neglected.
the rust doesn't bother me,the neglect does.
the car had puddles in it lol
I do understand behaviour saying though guys.it was just a natural thing to happen even if it never left the unit

Mark has also run of with my Ł500+ for a loom plus a coil pack and another loom I sent him.........

As I said on the other thread, I'd be straight on the phone to trading standards, that's what I did last year when a so called "mate" did what he did to my car last year, it's all very well people saying he needs sorting out, but that will just end up with you in bother, the only way to properly sort it is to take legal action and hit him where it really hurts, in the wallet!

Can't believe the last two posts
this guy is unbelievable
do you two guys have his mobile number??pm me if not and I'll give it to you.
also the rsoc are investigating Mark and my accusations against him.
maybe go over there and add your bit
Atleast I had my money back and car.
In the other thread my friend Adam stated that my first post wad the tip of the iceberg,And he said that because I left slot of stuff out as there's just too much.
but one of those small details left out was the fact mark at bespoke looms tried to rip me off 70% cancellation fee!!!!!!even though this was like five months over his deadline and he'd pretty much lied the whole time not to mention him saying he was going to chuck my car out on the main road.and he had the cheek to try take a 70% cancellation fee!!!!!!!
Don't let him get away with your money guys.
I only stayed calm as he had my money after slot of phone calls and texts mind, but if he refused to refund me I think I'd end up doing something silly.
I feel for you guys Big time.no one has the right to take people's hard earned even more so when the fat lazy prick didn't to uck for it!!!!!
pm if you need his Mobile number guys

Yeah, to cut a long story short, he had my car for over 2 months, completely fucked the bodywork and wanted Ł900 for the privilege, one mention of trading standards and funnily enough there was no charge lol. I could jave taken it further but tbh I was just glad o had my car back and the opportunity to get it put right

The crisp packet also made me grin, such a silly thing but when you picture him walking past the car and using it as a bin it's shocking
I don't think he even started apart from that small section I showed so it's not like he was even eating on the job lol
cheese and onion for me

Thats the way it should be handled not umpteen pages of Macho man & his mate spouting off.

Didn't have a chance to reply on the other thread before it was locked.
The pictures say it all really, and other people coming out the woodwork just confirms what a cowboy this guy is.
If you pay someone to do work on your pride and joy with your hard earned cash, they should be treating it like their pride and joy for the whole time they have it, simple as that. Putting the shoddy workmanship on the wiring aside, just allowing the car to get scratched and gather surface rust would be enough to stop me from using that person again.
I know you say you've not lost out on much, but by the time you've sorted the bumper and had the car detailed etc. that still adds up, I'd be taking him to court.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Outragous, gutted for you bud
Deffinately no way to treat somebodies pride and joy. I hope you manage to get some sort of compensation for the state of your car! Wonder if other people have been fobbed off with second hand wiring?
With regards to getting the loom sorted, I can honestly recommend CW Looms in Sussex, very good and proper enthusiasts too. They do have a facebook page as well as http://www.cw-looms.co.uk/contact-us/
Think they supply, or previously supplied some of the bigger boys too.

Disgraceful!
Silly he didn't try and resolve it with you as this thread will cause lasting damage to his name. Everyone that reads this thread will recommend friends don't go there and word will spread.
Good thing too.
