Default Laguna splitters

I've seen quite a few people are putting Renault laguna splitters on Rs turbos, cosworth and loads more..

Alot of the chavs put them on corsa ect and they look s**t...

Just wondering What's people's opinions on the splitters?

I have one on mine, they look great, though they used to fetch like £10? these days its nearer £50, they seem to have got rare.

I'm not keen on any aftermarket splitter on a Cossie personally.

It's each to their own though.

not entirely true, seen a few fitted to mk2 and mk3 fiestas, however they did need to all run the mk3 xr2i/frst bumper.
mk2 standard kits don't allow good fitment for splitters due to the shape of the body kit.

When I bought my saff it had no splitter I fitted a rs500 style one but I used to break it all the time as my was low. When I reshelled my car my mate fou d a brand new Laguna splitter in the roof of his garage! I was fed up of repairing the 500 one so fitted the Laguna instead.

Same as Bil n Kel above.
Laguna has plenty of flex in it.
Had mine on for nearly 10 years now

They are still available new

I paid £79 for an new one from some online renault parts dealer.

Better than paying £40 for some second hand scratched and chopped piece of crap from Ebay or a breaker

One of my first jobs was to take off the Lag splitter and replace with an original stone guard when I had my black one.
I gave it away to my mate who changed from standard and loved it

as long as someone takes the time to fit it well they can look as good as OE, my old road has speed ramps and it used to brush them going over it but as they flex it was no problem at all
