if your talking for breakdown cover then if you take out a personal policy with the AA it covers you not the cars?
you can be travelling in any vehicle as long as your in it at the time of the breakdown it'll be covered.
obviously the more stuff you bolt onto the policy the more expensive it becomes.its all well explained as you go through,
www.theaa.com/patrol/80333
its all on there with the prices if you go through the get a quote section.
if your interested in warranties too there is a product called breakdown repair cover which is listed in the additional section, i have brc on all my cars its decent cover.

You'll probably need commercial. RAC do commercial breakdown cover and Green Flag but I don't think AA do over a certain size vehicle, but worth checking in case your van is under the limit (think it's 7 meters).

RAC are a bit difficult to deal with sometimes. Great to add vehicles to your policy, crap to remove them. Also a little slow coming to your assistance. The AA can also be a little slow to attend too though.
