Default mk3 ford capri question?

Hi folks my mother in law gave me her mk3 2.8 capri to restore but doesnt know where the keys are! ive been to the car which is parked in a barn and cant find the keys in the car so will it be as simple as changing the ignition barrel to one with a key so i can move the car onto a trailer for transportation to my garage? i didnt check if the steering lock was on but im guessing it will lock if i try and steer it onto the trailer? never had a capri before so thought id ask the boffins ;p cheers.

Yeh as easy as that.
Take the ignition switch off and stick a screw driver in and turn it and the car should start. The steering lock will properly be on though.

Drill out the two sheer bolts on the bracket that holds the barrel to the steering column and remove, easy to fit replacement barrel and keys later.
