Default car keeps going into limp mode

hi i have a 1.6 lx tdci ford focus when hitting 3000 revs the car goes into
limp mode most of the time.the car went in for a service & a week later the problem started.
also we found out the car has had a very bad engine change,on sunday we
noticed the main vacume pipe was in the wrong place but my mechanic mate
sorted it out for me.so i was wandering if someone could shine some light on the
matter.thanks d.ferguson.

My Golf has done it about 5 times in last month, restart it and its fine. Sensor fault/something loose hopefully.
Stick a diagnostic on it.

You need to make sure they used a good fuel filter (genuine if poss)
i know this can give all manner of fueling problems resulting in over pressure/flow restrictions
It was the first thing i was told to change on my mondeo when it was going into limp mode
unfortunatley it was injector bother on mine
