Default Storage insurance

My RS has gone into a workshop that isn't a business ran property, So my friend has mentioned about storage insurance. He is respraying the car himself as a favour for me.

Whats the cost for these things?
Who insures a car that has no MOT no TAX and no Insurance?

The car will be in there for 1 week.

A bit unusual especially if only for a week! you need to find a "special risks" insurer. if you are worried against theft take the wheels off to stop it being rolled anywhere and put it on dollies! Also take the ecu off or something off the engine so It will not work! what ever you do "you want to make there Fu*king eyes water" if they try to take it!

You can get Laid up Fire and Theft insurance for a car in a garage, not sure who offers this or what the minimum policy length is though. The specialist insurers will be able to tell you.
