Symptons:
  • Rough idle (like a tractor)
  • Header tank cap venting fluid everywhere.
  • White smoke out of the exhaust.
I don't want to say it...

Isn't the headgasket a service item on old fords?

Like brake pads and tyres etc?

Along with cills.battery trays and that bit just in front of the header tank where it fixes to the inner wing....

Just come back from MSD (for fueling check) at 2 bar boost down the motorway as well.

"better head" that is down to technique & training.... I found the best way to motivate them was two kneeling at a time practicing side by side....

no sorry that's the "v" twin(s) -> sorry... happy place...... and I'm having problems with reality again!
