Cavalier GSI... who remembers?..
Anyone remember these?
I know their'll be some haters.
But I have fond memory's as my dad had one..
And they seem to of aged into quite a cool retro car.. and were supposedly rather rapid in their day...
What's peoples opinions?
Anyone had any experience with one?...

I wanted a cav turbo sooooooo much. When I was 21 decided to sell my mk3 Orion and upgrade to a cav turbo!!!
Couldn't get insured on one so settled for a uk impreza turbo for a couple of years then went for a Impreza sti type r!!!
Never got the chance to own a cav but did get the chance to drive a mate's cav turbo...
Very cool car... Would love a mint one...

People these days get the transfer boxes locked, gearboxes arnt normally a problem and high powered novas and corsas use them with few problems, they are old now though so probably prone to more failures none the less.
Feel a bit guilty these days as they are a very rare car, even more so getting a good one.

Friend of mine has a mint & standard Cavalier GSi, was used for the buyers guide in Total Vauxhall! It's a stunning car
Another mate has a Cavalier Turbo that runs about 320 brake and transfer box been uprated etc, its all powder coated underneath and is very quick!!
Must say I'd like a good GSi but they are making good money now

I gad a maroon gsi 4x4 turbo & loved it, although only for about 11 months as the insurance crippling. Being a pup at the time was a huge issue as we all know.

my dad had te SRI130 back when I was a youngster. loved it.... It was a food family car too, the poser was all kept above 4000 revs so could be really docile around town etc then 4000 to 6200 wahay.... It was a fun not that quick but a lot of fun! I had enough go in it to make me smile at the time! I have many happy memories of going camping across France in one of those!

Fucking monsters, such a sweet motor.
My step bro had a Maroon 4x4 turb, i shit meself in it at 1**+ mph...
he got banned for it
Yet again a dying breed that deserves far more credit than it got, were well comfy and lbh 6spd box when a cossie only had 5..bit ahead of the times then were vauxhall.
