Timing marks on cossie
Right, rebuilding my engine atm, have come to fit the auxilary shaft toothed belt pulley. It says align the pulley with the TDC mark, where is it?? cos I can't find it!!
Also, when doing the overall timing, i know #1 has to be at TDC, but does that also mean it has to be firing on #1?!
Many thanks!

1) ensure the pistons are half way down/up the bores using socket on crank by hand.
2) line cams up on marks (pointing at each other)
3) line dizi so the rotor arm points at line/mark on dizi body edge.
4) rotate crank until tdc cyl 1 and tooth mark (not timing mark) just passes marker on engine block.
5) fit cam belt and tension.
6) rotate engine clockwise by hand using socket - do not at any time turn backwards.
7) line up cam pointers again to check timing and ensure all timing marks are aligned.
