Flamer Kits on RS Turbos!
Hi Guys,
I know most of you will say they are gay but just wanted to ask...
How do you get them to flame, I had one on my Zetec S (lame I know) and I had to flick an engine cutoff switch which let the fuel go straight through to the zorst and boom!
I know on Turbos they are different and just wondered if it would flame after I revved high and let off the gas or what?

Basically will work on the over run i.e. the excess fuel being put down your exhaust being ignited by the spark plug in the tail pipe. So it would do it if use the gears to engine brake down a hill for example. To get reasonable flames on an RST it would mean your fuelling wouldn't necessarily be set up for the best performance or economy though cos your delibrately overfueling it.

At the minute it pops and burbles but I havent put my flamer in it as yet!
I might put it in later as it is lying about and there is a plug in the backbox already

Mine is only modded with a chip and exhaust and bigger actuator so I dont think it is at the stage of throwing natural flames

ok its a fact that the mfi management aint the best and masifly over fuels anyway as getting it set proper is a right coooooont, try it and i bet it works, just dont ffs wire it up of the cars actual coil like a twat i know did 
flick the switch and the fooker missed everywhere, flamed though
trust me most turbo powered cars flame anyway, mine flames as standard

Will get some more wire from Halfrauds tommorow and a decent switch so I can turn the spark on and off in case I get caught or it flames in a petrol station
Hopefully it will do something, in the ZS i could hear the flames!

ya hear scots thinking of returning to the mans car
, he said its all well and good having a yellow car thats as quick as a S1 turbo but he fancys REAL POWER !!!!
looks like you gonna have to ask clare for lifts in the smart car if ya wanna have any chance at keeping up

I just read in the newspaper that someone just got nicked for havin a flamer kit on his motor and the filth reckon they will do any one they see in future with one fitted.

yeah it was our very own elite member who got the 3 points for the flamer kit
hes not bothered though as he got more press coverage than micheal jackson that day
