nothing wrong with a decent rs themed cabby but you need to take into account maybe spending another £1000 getting it upto scratch

As long as it's not rotten and it's what your after, £850-£950 isn't a huge amount to worry about. Personally not my cup of tea but if you like it then why not?
Offer him £500 and see what he says.

The last car i bought off eBay was £900 and far far better than this, but it wasn't a Ford though.

I wouldn't give the asking price for it, but 1/2 of what it's up for seems fair.
It's the age old story though, buy a cheap car and spend £2k putting it right, when you could spend less buying better car in the first place.

does look a shed, i would avoid it.
Its an XR3, not an RS model, BUT, that said, xr3i CHV engines arent expensive, nor are zetecs and the car itself is cheap! Buy it and return the xr3 engine to standard, as long as its not rotten it would be decent!

I'm sure it will be fine, believe the ad and compliment the seller on his achievements. A car like this will be reliable, practical, and cost you nothing to maintain

expect any problems if you buy it to go unanswered as new 0 feedback account.

I'd save your money and buy a better condition one, what a waste of a rs turbo bonnet with those pins

Guys the car your all talking about is mine,i have a fully restored rs turbo and this car was owned by a very good mate of mine and it has a rs turbo block with the xr3i head and inlet turboed, built it almost 6000 miles ago and always ran low boost,oh and it does have a rs turbo block and some of you said if you turn the boost up it would go bang,we all know if you turn the boost higher on any car it would go bang wouldnt it?
Every car has its capabilities, this was built to run low boost and here is why,my mate owned it and spent alot of money on this car including
-full respray
-tsw wheels
-new suspension
-new tyres
-bought a jvc headunit and fitted it
-rs turbo brakes
-new bushes
-BRAND NEW hood

he spent alot of cash on it and then lost his job,so i bought this to keep the miles off my rs turbo, now after the radiator started leaking its made me realise i dont have time for this as im always working and the time i do get usually goes towards the car i have owned for years which i could never sell! This is a good car and has NO RUST as my mate had the car built from ground up! Nobody is getting ripped of here this is not a lemon the bits that need doing are stated in the add ,if you dont like the asking price then simply buy it as its cost me £1300 so if i got £950 for it i would let it go as it needs a turbo and radiator[ still drives ] im a genuine person with zero feedback as havent sold cars, created the account to sell my cars parts and this cabby cheers

The problems that need sorting is in the add mate i have 0 feedback as i never sold anything on ebay before its only now that im selling my parts that i have left over and this car to free up some cash as i got no time for 2 cars that need a little time to put right, the bonnet may not be to your taste but the pins are fitted so the bonnet dont flick up,its a common problem on escorts so atleast who ever buys it knows the bonnet wouldnt flick up and smash the screen or cause any damage, they are there to serve a purpose!

ok fair play but out of all the escorts i've owned and others have owned the only times i've heard of a bonnet coming open is when people don't shut them properly.

thats true but bonnets do flick up its usually if you dont grease the lock,i rather have bonnet pins holding it down, may not happen but i dont want to risk the bonnet flicking up and causing damage to the car...safer than sorry
