Just a quicky for GT4 players ON LINE (UPDATED)!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know there s aBIG thread going on,but just to catch any1`s eye,is anybody ON-LINE with it yet???

Just spoke to telewest,and its good news!!!!!!!!
If you have a old (fat) PS2,you need to buy the kit,which at TOYS`R US is about £23.99...
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have a new PS2 (slim 1) then the modem is already built in to it, so all you need is the cable that goes from your modem,to your PS2 then BAM!!!! YOUR ON LINE!!!!!!!!!!!
As payment goes,You dont have to pay ANY EXTRA CHARGE (well thats telewest,not sure about other internet providers)...but he said you shouldnt have to pay,as you pay for internet, so you use it as you choose..
He said if you are using the OLD FAT PS2,then you might have to register it when u start, phone numbers 08702 422 299,thats a SONY direct no. thats just for on-line PS2`ing!!!!!!! but if its the new PS2,just plugin and OFF YOU GO!!!!!
Ive got my cable now.so see you all in a few months!!!!

As this has system link mode it fools the PS2 into thinking the other PS2 is on the same network as your PC but really it is on the t'interweb!
I have used this on my Xbox in the past and it worked a treat!
The site is http://www.teamxlink.co.uk and if you have any problems you can ask in the PS2 forum and they seem to know how to fix most problems or help you set it up, just go to the forum on there and ask

My PS2 has been wired up for a while, have played NFSU2 for a bit but there always seems to be a shortage of 'victims' ? Am I just on at the wrong time or are there very few peeps playing online ????
