Default exhaust nosie regs, question...??

how do they test your sound?

could you have a straight through side exhaust, drivers side and pass the noise regs?

as ive heard they test you from the pit side, so you could have as much noise facing inwards?

usually test at 0.5 meters at two thirds max engine revs stationary and at 20 meters on the track, from both sides!
So prob not unless you are running 7 psi boost

Static test 0.5m away from the end of the exhaust and should be on a 45 degree angle - rest as above.

As Alex said, there is no hope for that type of set up Rad

Techy sound question for you all then... do they measure A or C weighted ?

Reason I ask is that I have a sound meter and would love to know how loud my car is
