Sytec looks like a blinged version of their normal cast alloy units. Some like them, some dont

The ebay one is a chinese copy of an Aeromotive or similar.

Chinese = you are taking risks.

Basically these are just adjustable, rising rate fuel pressure regulators, and the original ford one is adjustable too! THere are probably different rates of response in how they regulate the fuel pressure!

I tried one a while back (FSE Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator) with an Ahmed Bayjoo 160 chip in and it completely screwed up management when accelerating or trying to go faster than 100mph! (kangarooing) put the ford one back and all worked fine again!

I think that it might of needed more setting up! ( I still have lots to learn) but the ford one did just work!

Yup, unless you are running fuel pumps that outflow the ability of the factory regulator to maintain pressure at low loads, then other than a bit of bling, there really isnt a huge reason to change.

the standard ford fiesta rs turbo reg wont fit as he has a custom inlet manifold and the billet fuel rail has -6 fittings on both ends.

Aeromotive, Fuelab, Magnafuel, SX, FSE and no doubt there are countless others.

Really the choice will be down to your own preference and price.

I have no preference over the makes.
I don't really wanna spend mega bucks if a cheaper one will work / be just as reliable.
I can get one of those sitec ones brand new for about Ł40, If they are ok to use?

If you can get the exact same branded Sytec one for Ł40 then may as well use it.
