Anyone know of a good company to rebuild engines? Im looking at getting my xr3i engine redone.

Based in lowestoft. The engine was abit smokey before i stripped it out of the car, was looking for some advice/suggestions to get a little more power out of it.

Damico race engines (http://www.damico-engines.co.uk/) is fairly close to you (, as is randalls, but there seems to be a long lead time there). I'd personally use damico if i couldn't do everything myself. I'd also recommend allitt motorsport (http://www.allittmotorsport.co.uk/) as i know he does an outstanding job and charges a fair price.

Well as your NA getting more (noticeable) power is quite expensive, a rebuild with headwork, a decent cam, throttle bodies, exhaust and management for example would set you around Ł3500.
If your just after a freshly built engine with an air filter, exhaust and maybe a cam then around Ł1300.

That's if you don't need to go oversize pistons.
