Hi,

I have a W reg fiesta Ghia and when I switch on the front heated windscreen, only the passenger side half works, is there a way I could fix this myself with basic tools and next to no experience, or is it something I'd have to have looked at at a garage?

Any help would be welcomed,

Funny you should say that, my sisters Focus does the same..

(not sure if there is "two" parts for the screen demisters or whether shes damaged them over the years...?)

sounds like the connecting element has bit the dust as its pretty common on heated screens

new screen there is no way to fix it my galaxy leaves a 1 inch strip right in the center

could have had a stonechip repaired at somepoint and the tech and drilled do deap catchin the element
