Hi, hope you can help, after about 20 mins of driving i get a burning oil smell through the front vents, after popping the bonnet there is a small whisper of burning oil coming from the front exhaust area, can the sump leak onto the exhaust as i know its looking a bit tired. Have changed the rocker cover gasket as well so its not that.

yes sump can leak, also the breather can let a bit out in that area.

Cheers, is the breather the small l shaped rubber type thing at right of engine.

yeah that sounds like a part of the breather, it has a box that bolts to a port on the engine behind the cat converter iirc
